For those who are living under a rock, there was a tragic accident on the weekend. (click pic for info)

I'm gonna watch all the movies this weekend I think.
True loss of a car enthusiast, the man who made F&F series what it is, and charitable guy.

It was for sure him in the car, but he was the Passenger. His good friend, financial advisor, and co-owner of Always Evolving (his tuner shop) Roger Rodas was the one driving the Porsche.
Pressurized fuel lines, coupled with the Carrera GT's gas tank placement was apparently the cause of the uncontrollable fire that took the car after the initial accident.

Horrible thing to happen to anyone for sure, whats even worst is people trying to diminish Walker's accomplishments in life solely to the FnF franchise. RIP toa set of all around humanitarians, enthusiasts, and just good people.

I was super bummed to see this happen.

It seems strange for it to occur on a public street in the middle of the day, during a charity event, as opposed to some late-night driving mishap. I can't believe it actually. Like Emilio said, this might not happen if it weren't for some problem with the way the car holds fuel. I wonder if the Porsche PR department is working overtime right now. What a dangerous car if you can simply take it out for a spin mid-day and end up dying like this....

At any rate, super bummed on this.

carrera GT tank has a kevlar bladder....I don't think they were driving 40mph and the car just exploded... Probably more likely that the hydro electric steering pump that generates over 900psi is at fault in some form (+ excessive speed).. rather then the 45-70psi fuel line. Good indication of this is black smoke from the accident. <--- Im just repeating what I've read. (yes the tires burning would cause black smoke, but tires take a while to actually burn and go from white smoke to black) if you watch the footage you can see black smoke less then a minute after the car hits the sign, then post....

I am sad not only because he died , but it was a cool franchise and I think 7 would have been the best of all. The regular crew + Statham and Lucas black from tokyo drift
