I'll be the first one to welcome any and all new and returning members to the forums! I hope you all like the new redesign and layout of the boards themselves. I was going for an ultra clean, super functional forum like LSS once was. As for the colour scheme nothing is set in stone for red to be representing LSS in any way, and the banner as well will be changing on a bi-weekly basis to keep it fresh and new feeling around here. I highly encourage participation in the "Forum Suggestion" thread I have stickied in the Technical Support forums. I am looking for any and all suggestions relating the boards functionality, layout, design, colours, and just general operation. One thing I am currently working on is having a "Multi-Quote" function as right now you can only quote one previous post, or manually quote multiple ones into one.

Lot's of changes to be made around here as well as the LSS homepage that is currently under construction and will be launched in a few days. It will be used as an official "public identity" page for people who aren't as interested in the forums but want to keep in touch about events and things happening within the community.

Now with all that out of the way, a bit about myself. My name is Emilio Ciccarelli and I am a professional automotive photographer and student graphic designer. I have resided in Kingston now for almost thirteen years, and have been involved in the automotive community for a good number of those. My current personal project is a 1999 Honda Civic currently going through some major reworkings for this season. I daily drive a 2002 Acura RSX, and love them both equally for what they have to offer ;)

I have seen first hand the ups and downs of LSS in the past, and rode the wave as I'm sure a good number of you had as well. It was great in the best of times, and to be quite honest it was a disaster in the worst of times. The new ideals behind this re-vamp of the LSS name is to rid any sort of negative connotations the name may have carried in the past. LSS has tended to be a fairly volatile crowd of individuals and there's nothing wrong with that as that just tends to be the nature of communities like this, but there is a way to keep the animosity off of the forums as it's supposed to be an outlet for the community to make positive changes in the automotive scene cause let's not forget, that's why we are all here....the cars, and the friends we meet through these experiences.

I am personal friends previous owner of the boards, Danno which I'm sure you will all see around here being an important part of the administrative team, as well as members who in great part made up what was the functioning part of the scene previously. I have nothing but the utmost respect for these individuals and could not be more excited to have them back on board and helping out around here. This community is what we make it, and I know I am in it for the long run to make the most out of this as we can. It is very clear that the constantly growing attendance at our Monday night meets is a testament that hopefully there is still life in this scene, and we can pull it together a bit this season and put Kingston back on the map.

So come one come all, welcome to Kingston's new Online Automotive Community for all makes and models. This is a key part of this process, we welcome any and all gear turning, exhaust producing motorized vehicles, it doesn't have to be a Honda, it doesn't have to be an import, it doesn't have to be the cleanest thing on four wheels either. Progress being made on local builds is one of the inherently most rewarding things to see in a community experience.

Here's a couple of photos of my car from last season.....big changes for this year :-)

I've got to hand it to you; you did a good job with this car!

I especially like the 90s-era SSRs.
