Anyone see this.

What if you have a family of 4 or more.

1 bag limit.... It should be at least 2.

Hell, I live alone and sometimes have 3 or 4 (yes, I recycle too)

ONE-BAG LIMIT BEGINS WEEK OF
SEPT. 10, 2012
The City will collect one untagged bag or container of garbage (maximum 20 kg, 44 lbs or 135 litres) per household each week starting the week of Sept. 10, 2012. All tagged bags or container contents will be collected. Need help getting down to one? Find out how to waste less and recycle more.

The limit is one bag?...my block they're take up to two I think..and the garbage can.

Edit: Did not read....that sucks once that goes into place. My household always produces more than just the bin. Usually the bin + half a bag I would say. Four adults in the household.

couple things:

-stop putting food in the garbage. it goes in a green bin.
-recyclables should take the rest of your waste.

Garbage from a house shouldnt be that big at all. if your throwing out 3 or 4 bags, you have got to reassess what your doing with your life. quit buying so much shit that you throw out.

Dont make the assumption that because there is two bags of garbage produced that the household isn't using their recycling bin. Mine is overflowing on a weekly basis, as well as making use of our green box and we still need to put out the bin and one bag. I suppose in the case of 3 or 4 bags your obviously doing something wrong with your garbage management at home.

Thnigs such as cat litter, certain objects from the garage that cannot be recycled, non-recyclable papers and packaging, mom has sewing waste that can't be recycled, food that does not go in the green bin, I could go on and on. Don't get me wrong I agree that more then a bin and a bag is overkill, but you can't generalize what is "too much" for garbage when you base it off yourself and your girlfriend living alone in a house. If you guys even produce ONE bag of garbage theoretically per capita you are producing more than my household.
